Sankarea 02/03

Alright, time to do another episodic review of double-episodes of Sankarea. I prefer to combine two episode review into a single post since I don’t have to type that much and it helps me catch up on the series just in case I’m busy for the week. Of course, I expected Babu to get revived and Rea committed suicide due to her father not allowing her to go out in episode 2 and 3 since I’ve already read the manga. Somehow, reading the manga earlier spoils the suspense when I watch the anime adaptation but still, I’m gonna hang on to the series for a while to see how it goes.

Sankarea 01 (First Impressions)

It’s been a long time since I posted anying here since I have exams and I forgot to put a hiatus status for my blog. I will do some site redesigns in the coming days and hopefully, I could catch up on some shows like Black Rock Shooter and Daily Lies of High School Boys (BTW, I dropped Guilty Crown) and post my final impressions on those series. Now, back to the main topic. I’m sure you guys have read the manga including me, which was very popular around manga sites. It’s about a girl, Rea which was awaken from the dead after drinking a resurrection potion created by Furuya and has to eat Hydrangea leaves to keep her sane. Although, the anime is gonna be based on the manga, there will be some scenes that would not be available in the manga itself.

Black Rock Shooter – 01 (First Impressions)

Hey guys!!! Decided to do another first impression on another Winter anime season and probably pickup the series since Guilty Crown is pretty disappointing and I have very little time in my hands currently. The original animation has been made into a video game (PS3 only ugh…..) and a 4-panel manga. Hopefully the series would live up to it’s hype and awesomeness so far.

Hey guys!!! Sorry for the late post since I’m busy with my work and everything else in RL. In the last episode, a resonance from the metorite was broadcasted and causes chaos as it crystalises everyone. Episode 11 continues where it left off as the Undertakers are in disarray and the GHQ staff including Daryl’s father being killed by his own son. Sayonara Megaupload………for now……

R.I.P Megaupload 2005-2012

Just gonna do a quick post to say that Megaupload has been shutdown and its assets seized by the feds and the site founders are charged with copyright infringement. Most of you here knows that Megaupload is one of the largest and popular file sharing sites and most of you have been using it to download anime or softwares. Usually, I used Megaupload to download games for my PC since torrents are way to slow as my ISP throttles torrents. I’m sure you guys download some fansubs or manga raws from there, admit it.

Daily Lives of High School Boys 01 (First Impressions)

Hey guys!!! Time to do another first impressions for the winter anime season and for this time, I’m gonna give this show a try, not to mention someone recommended to me. At first, I thought it was a yaoi anime but after looking at the PV, might as well give it a try since it’s actually a comedy. As the title show suggests, it’s about a glimpse of life of a couple of schoolboys in a boys school so there’s nothing much to elaborate more on that. For now, I’ll just do a quick review for this episode since I’m pretty busy with my work.

Hey guys!!! I’m back at school now (ugh…) and although I busy, that doesn’t mean I will go for a hiatus anytime now and still be blogging, only a little late now. Of course, a new year means a new anime season and that means I better get started picking up anime. The first show for this season that I will pickup is……..well…….don’t ask (title says it all….). Personally, I don’t even want to watch this show, let alone blogging it (I already wrote that in the last post). I’m sure this show has a lot of censors and full of fanservice crap and bla bla bla……..I could wait till a better show shows up but for the sake of killing my boredom and waiting for other shows, might as well make a first impression for this show first.
